Christmas has left the building, we’ve eaten too much, spent too much and, if you’re like me, had a few too many glasses of vino over the festive period. The post Christmas come down has started and we’re back to work and normality.
January Blues? Not Me!
I always feel more excited about celebrating the New Year than I do Christmas, and not just because I get to stay up past midnight and can justify a glass (or two) of Champagne to bring the new year in.
It’s the feeling of anticipation, of making plans, developing ideas and looking to the future. Sure, January itself sucks a bit, with a tendency towards grey miserable weather, dark mornings and dark evenings but think of it as an early morning start for work – it’s a bit difficult to get out of bed and get going but once your up you can achieve so much if you put your mind to it.
I’m looking forward to an exciting year ahead, developing my photography and my business and taking the photographs at some fabulous weddings.
Whatever you have planned I hope 2016 is happy, healthy and prosperous for you.
Happy New Year.
