Samantha and James were married on August 29th 2015 and had the ceremony and the reception at the Bull Hotel in Gerrards Cross
They met through mutual friends and after 6 years together James asked Sam to marry him. When you’ve got 5 children it’s often hard to find some time alone so he recruited the children to help him propose. On a family day out on the beach at Dymchurch, after a few secret rehearsals, when Sam went down to the sea to cool off she came back to find the children all lined up on the beach holding a card with a word each on it that read
At the end of the line James was waiting on one knee with a beautiful ring.
I couldn’t help but steal the idea when it came to the wedding photographs, it’s not often you have 5 willing assistants.
The theme they chose was based on a 50’s style with burgundy and cream colours and a gorgeous vintage bus to get the Bride and Bridesmaids to the venue.
The day was a celebration of love, family and friends, including the ceremony.
When you’ve got a big family and lots of friends together for the day why not have three best men? They all took the day and their duties very seriously.
It may not have been the easiest job in the world to round so many people up for a photograph but it was a day filled with fun and laughter. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Smith
